Lap siding nailer

Worked great on 3/8 OSB lap siding. I didn't consult the instructions… I believe it is always on bump-fire.

Excellent siding gun for cheap

I build houses for a living and usually stick with Bostich or Dewalt brand air tools. We needed a gun that can shoot thicker diameter coil nails so I decided to give this a try, especially since it shoots multiple diameter nails. The gun is a little on the heavy side, but has all the features of the high price ones. I work with three other carpenters and they are all impressed using it and are gonna buy one as well. Why not for that price? Half of what I paid for the Bostich... I've seen other reviews where people say it double shoots a lot. Just learn how to use it and you will rarely have that happen. Do keep oil in it frequently and you will prevent misfires.

Well worth the money.

Not contractor grade, but will serve any homeowner. Have run a full case through it and not one jam. Double fires are user error. Buy it, you won't regret it when the job is done.

nailed it

there are a lot of nail guns out there some way over priced this one is priced fair and it's made pretty good, got a battery powered gun but use that thing all day and you will be sore in the morning, anyway it's not a bad tool to have around

Good gun for nailing furring strips into concrete

Maybe this gun is not for concrete, but after testing with 5000 nails doing a two story house of furring strips gun did a good job, nails were deep as needed, it doesn't stuck too hard as others I tried in pastPros: the hook, the transparent nail container (to know when to place a new nail coil roll), lightweightDefinitely made for high usage, let's see if it lasts

No real problems so far…

I've driven one roll of nails into my siding with this. It does tend to fire fully automatic sometimes, shooting one nail successfully and a second nail about half way. Not a huge deal, I just pound the second nail in when I flush everything up. I've avoided this problem by using a very light and quick trigger-pull. It's all in the technique.

Get what you pay for

My bostich blew up so I tried this, halfway a house siding project, I'd say its a good nailer, not a great nailer. It really likes to be firmly placed and square to the surface, so if you are reaching from the ladder, you are more likely to get a double hit with the second nail either needing to be hammered in or pulled. Only a couple of jams though after five or six coils through, so not bad. Kinda a 3.5 in my books.

Works great for me. Great value

For the money you can't go wrong. I've put 1000 nails through it with no issues.

Workday well

Worked very well. Did have a couple double taps but as long as I lubed it every 100 planks or so, it ran great. I think that most of the double taps were from me not pushing firmly to the picket. All and all, saved a ton of time and easly worth the price.

Perfect for repairs to fir deck

I had struggled for many years hammering stainless steel finish nails when making repairs to my fir deck. This time, due to replacement of almost 20% of the surface of my 450 sf. deck, I decided to invest in a nail gun and after significant research I ended up selecting this one. Although I had no previous experience with a pneumatic gun, I was able to operate the tool correctly after only a few tries. I'm happy with the repeat performance that sets >95% of the nails seated just right. I found the tool to be a little on the heavy side for my liking, but again I don't have another to compare it to. Overall I feel this tool is at a sweet spot of price, performance and features and I would recommend it to others.

No Issues

I had no issues with this Nailer; Purchased the correct nails and kept it oiled with Air Tool Oil.I used it for putting up hardie board siding on a 25X25 shop.Every once in a while 2 nails would shoot out instead of 1 but that may be the way I was using the trigger.Overall no issues and would purchase it again.

Works very well

We just did about 50 pickets on a fence repair. Didn't want to spend a ton on nailer. Then again did not want to buy junk. This one actually really worked out well for us. Had a few double shots here and there. Think that was pretty much user error. My helper is only one that had that problem I don't have it at all. With the right compressor shoots just fine. Only thing I don't like is a plastic housing for the nails. I feel like if I end up getting more fence repairs I'll end up breaking that. Then again when that happens it happens and I'll upgrade. For now I'd say buy the darn thing start making money.

Substantially better than I expected.

I purchased this from Amazon as a returned item. It was advertised as fair condition for about half price. What I received was new and never used. Works great.

Great nailer!

Awesome gun for the price. Not issues at all. I was going to buy the metabo. But for the price and how often I would use it. I went with the freeman. Would purchase again.

this product had some bad reviews but I found no fault in this device

This gun preforms as advertised the only issue if found is operator error. This nail gun has a light touch and will double fire if you do not pay attention . This is not the fault of the gun. Great product

Nail gun

This product works well at most of the time. The only disadvantage is the jamming it causes while in use. The nails in the holder keeps allowing the nails to become more tangled. Had to fix it constantly.
