Product is great Amazon packaging inadequate for this type of product

The pneumatic micro pinner was shipped in a plastic bag not in a box, consequently the manufacturers box is banged up and the nail gun actually broke through the box. It doesn’t look like the product itself is damaged thankfully it is a good solid product. Amazon please use sturdy packaging for items that are a little heavier.

that the nailer is a mini micro nailer

thought i was getting a naiver just for 1" to 1.2" nails or less but didn't expected to be a micro nailer should of been described bette r could of gone for a normal nailer but small nail

Just a good little pin nailer

I have been shopping for a pin nailer for quite some time but could not justify the high price of the top brand name products. This same nailer was available at one of the home centers for around $60. I got this for around $40 and have used it quite a bit. I am very pleased with it. Just a word of caution, set the trigger safety when you are not using this. This is not like a nail gun that needs to have the tip depressed in order to fire, this fires when the trigger is pulled, but I have no issue with this. I like this nailer.

Good deal

Great deal for the money hasn't missed yet.

Great price and works just fine.

It leaves NO marks on the wood and puts pins just below the surface. For the money you just can’t beat it. I actually play with air pressure on a piece of scrap to get optimum setting for wood hardness / pin length. I write them in a small notebook and able to switch and setup quickly.

Does the job

You are looking at this probably with price being a major concern since most of the others on the market are twice the price. This tool will work, I've only been running it for a couple of months and cannot speak to longevity, but it will pin the trim to the wall, and wood together. So if that is what you are looking for, go ahead.

Works great

We decided to do a statement wall in our bedroom, we put up vinyl flooring on the wall. We have a bigger nail gun but needed a smaller one that would hold small nails. This one did the job and worked great. We did have a little issue of the nails coming out once and then not work at all. Hubby took it to work and I guy there found the problem and fixed it. It had to do with the mechanism that holds the nails in, somehow it was bent a little and it would not click in place. It would let you shut one nail but after that it was all. After the tweak it worked.

It doesn't break even after heavy use

I own Grex and Senco micro pinners and this freeman has earned my respect. I bought as a temporary replacement while my other pinners were being repaired. I have a cabinet shop and we use these a lot to install trim moldings. Well, my Grex and Senco have both been repaired at least three times each. They jam and the firing pin always breaks. This Freeman I have owned for about six years and has never jammed or broken and just keeps working. I just wish they made it to use larger than 1" pins. It is definitely a great gun for the money and very well made!

Worked perfectly

I used with 3/4" nails to tack a piece of maple cove into maple flat stock. Worked perfectly and set the nails just below the surface. Gotta use the safety on this since it's not like other nailers that you have to press down to fire.

works great

I was worried buying something cheaper than others because I didn't know if I would use it very often. I ended up using it a lot and it works great with all size nails. The negative side is that it has no safety trigger. Be very very careful when you are handling it.

Good value, but dangerous

Good value for the money. I finished my entire basement from framing to trim with Freeman nail guns. They all performed well considering the price. Just by virtue of the size of the "business end", this gun does not have a tip pressure safety. It will shoot pins out into the air whenever the trigger is pulled. There is a very small trigger safety, but it's not very easy to use and doesn't make me feel safe at all. I definitely treat this gun with more respect than the other ones. It does shoot pins well, even into hardwood, and doesn't leave marks or divots behind.

Nail size slide jam

Used the gun for bits and bobs around the house for less than 20 or so hours before the nail size slide jammed - the gun will now only shoot 1/2" nails. Freeman usually have pretty good gear - hoping this one was just a dud.
