Upon opening the box it was apparent that the company is big on instructions. Included was the user manual, a quick instruction booklet, sample fasteners, and tools necessary for disassembly/reassembly. Very impressive. A nice mallet was included as well.However, the Bostitch staples, which matched the sample staple exactly and were the exact ones recommended by customer service, did not fit into the loading slot all the way, due apparently to a manufacturing issue. I disassembled the base and found a small piece of cardboard lodged in the area where the staples are ejected. However, after reassembly, the staples still did not feed properly.Customer service was excellent, though, and did their best to evaluate whether there were any issues with loading the fasteners or operation.Once it was determined that the condition could not be rectified, a replacement was sent and I received it A DAY LATER! This was prior to sending back the original. The replacement works very well.While I was disappointed with a malfunctioning unit I am very impressed with how the Company functions and recommend this product highly.

I put three hardwood floors down in my home. I'm an amateur at this, but this tool made it look like I knew what I was doing. The first couple of times I needed to line up the tool correctly, but after that, it was simple. You do need an air compreser.

First time using this nailer, I am on about 1500 nails so far and had one jam. The only problem I had is that it will slide off the edge and put the nail in the middle of the board so you have to watch it . Other than that I would buy again . Very good product, shiping was fast, well worth the price

Overall a good tool. Well packaged, good manual, quality paint and build. I installed 660 sqft of 3/4" oak flooring with zero problems. Far better than renting the tool. I have found rental tools to be problematic perhaps because they are typically well used and abused.

This is a great tool. In 2021 we had the first floor contractor refinish and add wood floor to the carpeted area. Expensive but worth it. In 2022 the cost to do the second floor went over $12000 and that didn't cover staircase, baseboard, painting etc. So we went DYI. I already owned the compressor and a bunch of tools. This tool made the project almost fun. My 13 yr old son work all day banging away. I cut and position. There is not a down side to this tool. But for the DYI, beware, they need to understand that no one tool can do 100% of the job. ie: heavy duty finishing nailer, old fashion hammer and nails, saws, sanders etc

This was my second PDC 50. I used the first one for about 500 square feet of maple then sold it for almost what it cost. This one I used for 850 square feet of 3/4 inch hickory. My suggestions to new users, put a piece of tape on the arm that rides behind the nails so you can see when it's low, and if you remove the air line to add oil remove the nails before you reconnect air line. My second PDC 50 would push a nail part way out when I reconnected the air line.

I am a professional flooring intaller 40yrs and counting i have gone through a number of various brands and styles this is one of the lightest and well balanced guns I have used especially in this price point. Malot is lighter than most and is well balanced also the trigger takes a much lighter tap to fire. This also has quick release on the plunger shaft unheard-of at this price point and it has quick release!

Installed 3/4 oak in two bedrooms using this gun. It had two jams that were quickly fixed. I think both were my fault as they both happened within one or two nails of a reload. I would recommend you make sure to empty any partial strip before you reload A full one and put any strays in last so you can check their alignment.On delivery it was pre configured for 3/4" material and it even had the air hose nipple installed. All I had to do was give it a few drops of oil, load the nails, and connect a air line. I started out at 110psi and dialed it down to 90 to leave the nail heads at the right depth. After that it was waiting on me.I'd buy it again because I trust it based on how well it performed.

I borrowed a friend's floor nailer after no less than about 20 jams, and just before losing my mind I order this freeman floor nailer! Not 1 jam! Makes the whole quick release completely useless! Just the way I love them...Would I recommend, absolutely! Would I buy again, in a heartbeat!

Haven't used it yet but it does not come with a carrying case. I will write another review after install my flooring

Great nailer

We used this nailer to lay about 1300 sq/ft of solid Oak flooring and it worked beautifully. The only issue we had with it was if you are close to a wall and don't get a good swing on the actuator it will tend to jam. Aside from that, not a single issue. And truthfully, once I had cleared a jam a couple times, even that wasn't really a problem cause its pretty easy. Great tool!

The Flooring Nailer worked great; bought to complete a DIY home project of 550 sq. ft. of hardwood flooring. This nailer was a very reliable piece of equipment, light weight, durable; no jams like another brand I purchased first.I endorse the Freeman Nailer.

Worked great. Yes you can put a nail in the middle of a board if you don't pay attention but it's an operator error. Not a tool flaw. Just finished first 1000 sq ft of 3/4 hickory with no jams or other issues. Great tool.

Just laid 250 ft of hickory in my living room, no jams! Very dependable

excellent tool, I did 3 floors and they were big floors and I had only 1 jam. but this is just as good as the big market stuff. loved it.

Nails perfectly. Never misfired on T nails. Like others be careful when laying on board and to not mistake the guide as it will face nail. Did this twice afterwards starting paying more attention to this. Otherwise great nailer.

floor nailer has worked great so far. laid about 200 board feet so far and only 2 misfires and those were my fault. would recommend this .saved me a fortune in rental charges already

Well the day at the job site started out normal I got the Freeman ready to lay down 3/4 oak.Then I put down 500 sqft only to realize I face nailed it all.

This flooring cleat nailer performed without a hitch. Made hardwood floor installation a breeze even for a beginner!

Works great. Not one jam in 1200 square feet.

I bought this floor nailer to lay 3" pre-finished hardwood in an 11' by 11' room. This is a solidly built quality tool that performs very well. The adjustable foot on the front of the nailer insures that you get the correct alignment every time. I highly recommend this and would buy again.
