Wouldn't recommend this for any framing gun (one that you'd want to hang on a joist) - this hook just isn't big enough for that.However works perfect for finish nailers that you want to hang on a belt or pocket.Installed onto my bostitch 18 guage gun and it's SO much nicer to use!

I mounted the Freeman PSTH1 belt hook to my Hitachi 15 gauge nailer. It is quite frustrating when you need two hands when you're up on a ladder and now have to find a safe place to set your nailer. The belt hook works great; it's always there and doesn't get in the way of the tool's performance in any way. It also allows user to hook tool on to any other object that does't exceed 1" width, like the hinges of a ladder.
