I recently purchased the NuMax SFN50 Pneumatic 16 Gauge 2" Straight Finish Nailer from Amazon for a home renovation project, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with its performance. bought for a baseboard and trim project, worked well enough. would probably not hold up to long term every day use. plus leaves some marks where nails go in. acceptable for the cost though!

You can set the depth all the way. Yet it will not drive it flush, you must use a nail punch. But it does shoot/drive every time.

Returned, I have been using air nailers for years... this one no different than others..looks good feels good and packaged well, who cares... does it work well, not. every second nail jams or fails to eject..had quality brads..still not even good performance on soft wood or MDF moldings...returned and went with other make

This was purchased to replace the baseboards in my basement. To hire the job done would have been $400+. To purchase the same thing with guarantees of 5+ years service would have cost $300.It's lasted the 5 days I needed it. Value for the money. Don't buy this if you need it for 5-6 years ... it probably won't last. For one or two projects? Bingo

I've used this consistently while installing baseboard and trim and have not had any problems whatsoever, considering I only paid $40. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out for that price.

This isnt your cheap tool thats going to break down a couple weeks after you use it. This thing feels nice and solid and works great

makes installing molding and other wood much easier. no more hammer...

IT WORKED VERY WELL FOR THE SHORTER FINISHING NAILS BUT WAS UNABLE TO FULLY SEAT THE LONGER ONES WITHOUT EXCEEDING THE MAXIMUM RECCOMMENDED AIR PRESSURE. AS A RESULT, I RETURNED IT.

Great nail gun for beginners & easy to use at a great price!

Purchased too soon, didn't realize there was a 3 in 1 version that takes 18 Guage finish nails & staples including 16 guage Brad nails too for a few dollars more.

Three days into a project it's doing well and makes for more efficient work.

I purchased this because of the nose of the gun. I had an employee putting up v groove pine and the design of the nose or foot of the nailer made placing the nails accurately easy. I own a few NuMax products. I do this for a living. Some of my tools are “ Pro grade “ but Many are not. Pneumatic tools have a shelf life no matter how well you maintain them. This cost 20-25% of others and is easier to use. Obvious choice.

Great performance for the value.

I now own 3 NuMax nailers. They are well-made, easy to load and use, and very reasonably priced. The directed exhaust ports work the same on all of them, which is a handy feature. They all work well with my 6 gallon 2.6 SCFM Craftsman pancake compressor.

Really great air nailer. Just a little bulky. However, you cant beat the price and quality

So far this is a exceptional product for the price. I am using it for home projects, so it does not get heavy usage. However, it does shoot 2" finishing nails perfectly every time. I have had much less success with other brands in the past. Cannot guarantee how long it will last, but I can recommend it for light usage.

Excellent gun. This was my first major project on my own. The nailer was flawless. You get your money worth out of it. I actually bought their finish nailer as well.
