Manuals, Parts and Warranty

The Freeman PF1618GLCN Pneumatic 3-in-1 16-Gauge and 18-Gauge 2" Flooring Nailer is the first all-in-one flooring nailer, providing DIYers and professional contractors with a solution that takes the guess work out of what flooring nailer to buy. For the installation of more common tongue and groove hardwood flooring, such as 5/8" to 3/4" oak, maple, and hickory, the 16 gauge T-cleat is ideal. If you are installing 3/8" to 3/4" engineered or solid tongue and groove flooring, including bamboo, stranded bamboo, carbonized bamboo, or exotic hardwoods, the 18 gauge L-cleat is your fastener. The durable anodized aluminum magazine allows you to load 16 gauge L-cleats or 18 gauge L-cleats ranging in sizes from 1-1/4" to 2" in length without making any adjustments or modifications, providing a seamless operation. The one piece drive blade is made of hardened steel with an aluminum cylinder, while the body of the nailer is constructed of durable die cast aluminum to stand up to daily use. Height adjustment of the base plates allows you to precisely line up with your nailing area, and the no mar design provides increased protection when working on finished flooring surfaces. The Pneumatic 3-in-1 16-Gauge and 18-Gauge 2" Flooring Nailer includes a fiberglass mallet with rubber head and three interchangeable base plates, and is covered by Freeman's 7 Year Limited Warranty and 90 Day Wearable Parts Warranty.

Worked just fine

Installed about 800 sqft of hardwood. Ran just fine. Had one jam that cleared in a piece of scrap. Not too bad.

Great nailer!!

I got this nailer to lay the Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring in the photo. I also used the 18 ga Freeman L-cleats. Once I got used to how hard to strike the head, the nailer worked great. A few split tongues, but that is a common problem with Brazilian Cherry, and less splitting then with other nailers I have used. Nailer jammed twice for the floor shown, and easy to clear the jams with the provided hex wrenches. Jams were a nail issue anyway, and not the fault of the nailer. I bought the nailer and it looked brand new. As a result the cost was the same as 3 days of a rental, and the flooring took me 5-6 days total, so definitely a win-win as I still have the nailer to use for my next job vs. a rental that would have cost more for the 5 days.

Worked as expected!

This worked exactly as I expected. I decided to lay my own floors and needed to biy a flooring nailer. This worked perfectly. Need to be sure to keep it oiled and free of dirt/dust.

Good nailer

Worked well. No jammed nails. Used to install 1/2" engineered hardwood floor. Used scrap flooring to set psi.

Great floor nailer for the price and easy to use

Great product for the money. Easy to set up and get started. One of the only 16 & 18 gauge floor nailers that I could find. I like that you just replace the pads on the bottom for the thickness of wood that you are putting down. Better than having to adjust the height on most floor nailers. Overall great buy and worth the money.

Great nailer for engineered wood

This nailer is great! No mis fires. I'm using 18guage 1 3/4 " cleats on 9/16 engineered hard wood. It sinks them in nicely, spot on in the grove! And it only take about 60 lbs of pressure.

Great Value!!!

This floor nailer worked great for my entire project. I had 1500 sq. ft. of hardwood flooring that I installed with only two misfires which were my errors not the fault of the tool. This is a great tool that was very easy to use. I can't imagine a more expensive tool would have performed any better.

Could be better

Frustrating performance with 18 gauge cleats jamming in the delivery slope, i suspect the dual gauge feature fails to deliver the smaller cleats correctly, i.e a compromise that results in more jams. So many from my perspective that I am going to buy another gun rather than waste so much time clearing jams.
