This air powered tool is compatible with 15.5 gauge 1/2" crown staples, 16 gauge T-cleats, and 16 gauge L-cleats from 1-1/2" to 2" for all three types of fasteners. The lightweight body of this combination flooring nailer and stapler is constructed of die cast aluminum, with a hardened steel one piece drive blade for durability. Two interchangeable no mar base plates provide stability for this versatile tool and prevent damage to finished flooring surfaces, ensuring professional results for DIYers and construction contractors. Works great!

Used this to finish up a closet floor and it worked without jamming and did an excellent job sinking the nails.Would have to use it more to really know how it will work with extended use, but right now I give it a thumbs up.

Great nailer

I bought this nailer to install about 1000 sq. ft of 3/4" oak flooring. I'm using 2" L-cleats. The only jams I've had (3 of them) are due to my error‚ not releasing the spring loaded "snugger" after loading a new batch of cleats. It is fairly easy to get the stuck cleats free. So far I'm very pleased with this purchase and recommend it to other DIYers.

Value for money

Product was great - not one jam during the installation of engineered hardwood flooring in 3 rooms. I used both expensive staples and the cheaper brands both worked flawlessly. Great product for the price.

Great product for the money

I used this a few months ago to lay a hard wood floor in my living room. I had absolutely no trouble with it. There were no misfires and I rarely had any cleats that didn't seat properly and when they didn't, I blamed the flooring or subfloor instead of the nailer. Compared to quite a few other name brand nailers, the price is awesome I can't imagine the other nailers would do a better job for about twice the cost. I had to disassemble it one time to clear a jam (my fault for using the wrong nails) and it was medium difficulty to take apart and put back together. Keep it well oiled for best performance and use good quality cleats.
