This is a great value and worked fine without any jamming. I kept the air pressure @ 100 PSI and periodically added a few drops of the supplied tool oil as per the instruction manual. The 100 PSI easily sunk the L cleats cleanly in 3/4" maple flooring.Attaching the handle on the nailer was easy using the suppled washer and 13 mm nylocs nuts. It came remounted with a 3/4" spacer but also comes with a 1/4" and 5/16" spacers.It has decent weight but not too heavy. It slid across the boards easily. The hammer has good weight to it.I can't see paying for a more expensive model.

This was working just fine – – – until it wasn't. It jammed up on me and the rear hex screw was stripped so I was not able to fix the jam according to their instructions. So had to send it back and finish the hardwood floor installation by other means.

My first review needs to be deleted. Working as described so far now, 👍👊💯

This tool worked perfectly

I've laid solid 3/4" Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring 3 times. First two times i rented a nail gun from home depot. This time, I decided to purchase because it was cheaper than a weekly rental. My plan was to purchase the Harbor Freight Banks nail gun which was rated highly but I couldn't wait for it to go on sale.This gun perform flawlessly, sunk the nails, never scratched the floor, never had a jam. Can't believe how much quicker I completed the job vs using The Home Depot nail gun which scratched my floor and kept bending the nails.Follow the instructions and keep the gun well oiled.

We nailed our whole house with this thing. It was fantastic, no problems, easy to use, anyone could do the job with this tool!! And what a great price too!!

This is a super floor nailer! I laid down 400 square feet of hardwood flooring with relative ease. If you are installing 1/2 inch wood flooring , use the 5/8 inch plate, it works perfectly. Very pleased.

Did the work perfectly. It works for my 1200 sq ft as expected. Sometimes it get stucked but for the price. I'll recommend it

Only 300sf in, but so far this tool has worked perfectly. It has paid for itself in avoiding rental fees, so anything more I do with this nailer feels like a bonus. A good buy for sure.

I bought this to put hard wood flooring in our new addition and it worked great. No issues, except when I forget to release the press spring on the nails and had a miss feed. (Completely my fault). I would definitely recommend this for any hard wood flooring project. I put down 520 sq ft of 2.5 floor.

Purchased this tool rather than renting it as I had several floors in my home to do so it took a while. Worked perfectly, no jamming. Very happy with the purchase.

I’m a big DIY-er, I’ve never done hardwood floors before but got a screaming deal on some oak. So that being said, I needed a flooring nailer. This is one of the most inexpensive ones I found and decided to give it a chance. And HOLY MOLEY, this thing is amazing! I played down around 600 square feet of hardwood and never had a single issue with this gun. Despite the price, it’s built very sturdy and operates very smooth. It operates by smacking the back of the gun with a mallet (that comes with the gun) which closes any gaps and sets the board while simultaneously driving a nail. I had no gaps and a nice uniform floor thanks to the product. I cannot recommend this thing enough!

Why rent a machine for $40 a day or whatever when you can buy this and take your time? Especially if it's your first time doing hardwood floors, you wanna take it slow, and this is great tool to accomplish that. Used this for 2 1/4 in white oak with a small 3 gal compressor.

Works great! only complaint is the rubber handle slides off. Other than that did a great job! Very satisfied

pleasantly surprised on the quality and consistent operation of this tool. Out of 10,000 nails, only had 10 or so miss-fires and those were probably operator error. This will go in the lend to friend and family collection. Saved me a ton in rental fees

This nailer was inexpensive and performed perfectly right out of the box. I recommend it for any hardwood floor installation.

The nailer works reliably. This was my first install. Only 2 misfires and they were both my fault. (Really liked the suggestion to cut the nail vs trying to pull it). This has the metal handle not like the plastic ones. It is not too heavy. Only thing was that you have to be careful to fit the nailer to the board egde correctly. I guess that I just expected it to be easier. I was considering buying a used nailer, but this was not much more money, new, and arrived in two days.

This tool worked great for me. I used up about 1800 square feet of 9/16" engineered wood and almost 5000 2-inch Powernail nails. It worked great with no jams. It's real easy to use given proper usage, such as giving it a few drops of oil before usage. One minor issue is that the rubber on the handle to help with gripping did slowly slipped.

This tool has been great for our flooring project. It helps tighten the wood to the previous row very nicely. It’s easy to load and easy to use. It’s great that the mallet came with it. If you don’t hit it hard enough, your nails will not go in properly, so be sure to give it a good whack. I don’t know how the tool could work any better than it does. It’s great.

Very standard flooring nailer. I laid ~230 sqft of tongue and groove hickory using this nailer, and I have had no issues with the device itself. On that note, I did encounter a couple of user errors which are fairly common to beginners regardless of the nailer you use. Mainly, the nailer would not fully drive a nail due to poor contact on swings. Ensure that you hit the button squarely, and you should have no issues. Please note that this cannot be used within the first and last ~3-4 rows of flooring due to the clearances it requires.

My husband bought this to put down a hardwood floor. It worked very well.

For my first time to try nailing a floor down, I bought this instead of renting for the same price. It let me work on my schedule. The set-up test was perfect with no adjustments needed when using 80 psi on 3/4 inch tongue and groove southern yellow pine. It works great. So far I have shot about 600 16 gauge L cleats and no jams. Take your time and make sure the nailer is lined up correctly before setting the nail.

I’ve put down about 450’ of hardwood with it and it’s done great.

Works awesome and no jams at all, easy to use andHas not failed after several cleats used. Would buy again and recommend.
