Digital tire inflator

This new digital tire inflator works pretty good. Sent back a $250 Snap On one and bought this. Much more happy with this one. I have to pull the handle extra hard to get it to inflate. The unit turns itself off after five seconds of not using it. But it turns itself on automatically when you Apply it to valvestem with Air in Tire.

The single best digital tire inflator on the market.

I've had a Cornwell inflator, $70, broke. Replaced under warranty, that one broke. I threw it away, and started shopping around for inflators. You can get the Astro pneumatic one, sure, it's the same one made under countless brands, tool trucks have them, they're everywhere. Thing is, they're the same price, $70-$120 generally, and with my track record of breaking tire inflators, I don't want to compromise if I'm going to spend a lot. The main reason I liked the Cornwell inflator for the price was because it turns on as soon as you plug it into a tire, or the sensor detects a pressure increase. It's so much nicer to just plug it in and your pressure readout pops up. The Astro doesn't do that, and neither do any of the same inflators under all the other brands. You need to reach over and hit the button to turn it on and wait for it to initialize before using every other inflator I've used, except the Freeman. My god, the Freeman is an enigma. It costs about a quarter the price of a nice name brand inflator, it's accurate, it DOESN'T have any sort of rubberized cover or anything, which basically every other inflator does have, but I have thrown my Freeman around, dropped it on the screen, on the pneumatic fitting, on its top, on its side, this thing refuses to quit. I bought the Freeman to hold me over until I decided which nice inflator to buy, and the Freeman quickly became my primary inflator.I've used this inflator so much, I wore out the spring in the Schrader fitting latch to the point of it snapping, and replaced it with my old Cornwell fitting. Freeman outlasted the hose fitting.Screw spending $70 or more on an inflator, honestly just buy the Freeman. It is absolutely more than worth it.This is coming from a professional mechanic.

Best tire inflator EVER!

I run a roadside business and these are the best tire inflators ever. They move a super high volume of air meaning less time on the side of the road. They're easy to read and I've used one for well over a year and the batteries are still fully charged. They're durable and rugged. The pins do fall out from time to time from the handle but, you can put a little bit of silicone in the hole and stop that from happening. There just isn't anything better that I found. Would highly recommend these to any professional or non-professional.

Pressure gauge is accurate. Big, easy to read numbers with one decimal place and a backlit screen. Perfect for my garage

Best tire inflator

Well worth the money. The tire inflator clips on the valve stem better than any other. The gauge is accurate and repeats well.

Ok device for the money

Hard to keep the connection device secure onto valve stem of most tires.

Excellent product

Works great. The unit it self is perfect and seems to be very accurate. One small complaint is the clip to hold the hose onto the valve stem seems cheap, like it will fail but that is an easy fix.

Very handy device!

In concept, works very nice. Very handy features, and works well on most of my vehicles. Just spent a few minutes working the truck tires, and noticed it had to be held in place to keep from leaking. Tightened everything and tried different depths and angles. Worked fine on the other cars, so not sure why the issue on the truck.
