18-Gauge 1-1/4" to 1-3/4" Glue Collated Flooring L-Cleats

Used for Freeman gun 18 gauge L cleat to put in a 11/16th hardwood (tropical) floor. Worked well.

These were difficult to find in any hardware store where I live I was happy to find these and they worked great

Used with freeman nailer and worked perfectly installing our 1/2" engineered hardwood flooring.

Had no problem with our very hard eucalyptus hardwood planks. Penetrated easily, no jamming (Freeman nailer).

These are nailing down the new flooring just like they are supposed too.

I used these cleats to install about 80 square meters (800 square feet) of super hard bamboo flooring. I never had a problem and a year later, the floor still looks good.

Worked as advertised. They held my floor into place perfectly. I'd have given them 5 stars, but there were a number of cleats that didn't go all the way in. I had a high end flooring nailer, so I tend to think it wasn't the nailer. I suppose the problem could have been partly the cleats, partly the nailer, and partly the guy using the nailer (me). For the price and quality, I'd buy them again.They did the job nicely.

I've installed a lot of flooring with these - the 18 gauge split the wood much less frequently than the 16 gauge. At this point I've probably gone through 20 or 30 boxes in a row with no jams. If you are using the Freeman 18 gauge nailer I would highly recommend using these cleats.

Cleats were as expected but shipping in a envelope was a horrible idea the boxes opened up and the cleats were broken apart I had to load multiple small quantities at a time but it all worked out

Worked great for eucalyptus flooring. we were told the density of the floor could cause issues with cleats but we had no issues on over 600 Sq ft of flooring. worked great!

Just what we needed and there were no stores in the area that had these in stock

Worked well, occasionally split tongue, but I think this was due to excessive pressure on the compressor and/or striking the plunger too much. Nailed 5" hard maple, and hardwood manufacture recommended this size and gauge.

Nearly 1000 cleats with bamboo flooring, and no misfires and no jams. Best to use the Matching freeman 18g nailer. Air pressure set at around 65psi + good solid hits with the rubber mallet. Love it and it did exactly what it needed to do. No breaks, just solid hits to build a solid floor. Would highly recommend. This is the size and brand to use when installing Bamboo Flooring in 5/8 thickness (or other thicknesses)

Item exactly what was advertised worked well

I bought a Freeman floor nailer to do my floors, unfortunately I bought generic 18 gauge L-cleats. I spent the first day clearing jam after jam, spending more time clearing the jams than nailing. So I ordered the Freeman brand nails and finished that first room and two others with absolutely no jams. I'm Sold.

Good cleats. 1,000sq ft of flooring and these things worked flawlessly.
