Great quality. Only one jamb while laying 700 sq ft. of White Engineered flooring.

I used this for a small floor (my first one) and it performed beautifully. Not a single jamb. The L cleats held the flooring down nicely for no creaks. I like the ability to change plates for different thicknesses of wood. Adjust the firing line carefully, and then give it a mighty whack. Used Freeman and Powertec cleats.

Yes it works, but. There are large arrows either side of foot plate for reason. That's because the foot doesn't naturally set on the edge of the board. It's more inclined to set about an inch in giving you a face nail. Doubtless the better designs are already patented

I bought this because the one I paid $65.00 for was a bust. The hardest thing about this nailer is finding 18 gauge nails. Big Box carry 16 gauge, so I ordered them from Amazon. I installed 1/2 inch tongue and groove flooring. Comes with multiple base plates for several flooring thickness. Worked well till I caused a jam. 3 screws to clear it, and back to business. I noticed that there was no mark on the nail slide to let you know you’re empty, so i made my own mark. Worked well. Would buy it again.

I purches this nailer for 1 project! To replace the carpet with hardwood.I pushed about 5000 nailes through . Not 1 missfire!!.I followed the recommendations and lube it every day before use.Excellent product.

In our previous house we did the entire upstairs floating, glueing every younger and groove. We used this tool with the recommended nails same brand and were able to complete our project much faster and to perfection. These nails went through the underlayment perfectly without any issue and there are no gaps in any of the boards because of this nailer doing both the hammering and nailing at the same time. I wish I would have bought one of these years ago, best investment if you're going to do any DIY flooring. I only had one jam using it so far, and it was pretty easy to get the stuck nail out.

Installed 1000sq ft of flooring with no problems. Worked well, no jams.

When the floor Nailer works its great - to get it to work - well, air connector leaks when the hose is in one direction (connector does not leak on any other air tool); the nail pressure unit used to push the nail supply in place consistently slips and you have to go back over your work; jams about 1 in 750 nails. You get what you pay for.

It was kinda hard to line up with the edge of the bam boo flooring. I miss the edge a few times and shot the face of the bamboo planks.

I was floored with how easy this was to use and the accuracy of each staple. Be sure to get in the groove cuz it will put a staple through whatever is in its way. I wasted a piece or two of hardwood flooring because I was not careful enough about the alignment. That's probably true of other nailers too, so just a heads-up. It has a fair amount of air leak, maybe by design, not sure, so the compressor runs often.

I used this to install over 1200 sf of 3-3/4-in Wide x 9/16-in Thick Solid Bamboo Tongue and Groove Hardwood Flooring from Cali Bamboo. In fact this was the very first time I have ever used a flooring nailer like this as my prior experience was in glue down and tile. I gradually replaced the carpet in our house room by room over a few months with little to no help. This was a much better option than trying to rent. I found that the nails/L cleats went in just right at 60-70 PSI. The only times the nail didn't go all the way was if I did not hit the nailer right or if the PSI drifted down below 60 PSI. Only jammed once do to operator error. I oiled it with the included oil each day I used it.

Great nail gun...was not familiar with the brand but did a fair amount of research on this one and I was very pleased with how well it worked. I installed approx. 900 square feet of flooring and had no jams. Once in a while when the nail gun had a full capacity of nails, the follower slipped down past the nails a few times but all I had to do was grab the follower and pull it back behind the nail strip and it would work like a charm. I really have no complaints with it. Very pleased.

I bought this because I couldn't find an 18 Gauge flooring nailer to rent in my area. I put down 1,600 square feet of hardwood flooring and I never had a single issue. This nail gun is well made, sturdy, easy to load and comfortable to use. It was priced much lower than other models I looked at. I highly recommend it!

The flooring nailer worked well out of the box, drives the cleats with ease with minimal splittingI followed the instruction on setting up the nailer foot for 5/8 flooring and still managed to miss a couple as it doesn't quite nestle in properly to get the cleat in the right spot. I did get used to itIf they could improve that in the design, it would get 5 starts

In my original review I stated the nailer did not work with my flooring, which is Cali Bamboo 5 3/8" by 9/16" T&G. It was cracking out the tongue, because it was not shooting the nail high enough, and was shooting more into the tongue, rather than pocket. I now believe the issue is one that would be a problem with most nailers and the flooring size of 9/16". Could just be a Cali Bamboo things as well... Customer service at Freeman was prompt and great to work with.Maybe this will help someone, and maybe not. If the nailer is not shooting the cleats into the pocket and is instead shooting them in too low, add the plate that says it's for 7/16" flooring to the combo 5/8" and 9/16" plate. Fixed my issue.

Laid 2,500 sq. feet of 3/8 inch manufactured Hardwood flooring, had no issues once moved pressure gauge at end of air line right before nailer. started with gauge at air tank, but was running to long of an air line and could not keep constant pressure. Hard to beat for the price.

This nail gun works very well, even with my tiny 2 gallon 100 PSI compressor. Laid hardwood in 1 bedroom without a jam. It feels like this tool will last a lifetime.

Easy to use. Finished one room then the nail not come out. Returned and bought another one. Need to finish the project. Will see!

The first time I installed wood flooring, I rented the flooring nailer which I used for 2 days and about 2 yrs ago I realized for the cost of rental I could brought the flooring nailer. The flooring nailer is very easy to use, no problem to report with this nailer and will come in very handy for the next project. Great buy.

Fantastic tool! Used it for 9/16 Bamboo. A lot of people here have left really detailed reviews and I would read up on them. Some of their input helped me proactively know what to expect. Couldnt be happier with this purchase. I will use this tool for years when installing Bamboo.

went thru a lot of reviews before considering this model..after that it was a definite decisions ..have had no issues with it..so far have nailed down 1500 sq ft of 3/4 inch maple hardwood..in fact it is such a nice tool i may not get rid of it when im all done with it...
