Just as good as nailers costing 4X the price

I was skeptical at buying this at first but I am happy I pulled the trigger and purchased it. I assembled a wooden fence and gate and it worked just like it was intended to. I shot 300-400 nails and didn't have any issues with it jamming. One thing others have commented on is the depth adjuster is hard to figure out. I ended up just adjusting air pressure till it sunk nails to desired depth. It is a little on the bulky side and after a using it for a few hours your arms start to feel it. It’s not the lightest gun but it is comfortable to use it's just a tiny bit on the heavy side. It has plenty of power to sink 3 1/2 inch nails with no problem. This gun performs just as good as the more expensive ones costing 4 X the cost of this one. If you’re on the fence of whether or not to purchase this nail gun JUST DO IT! You will happy you did.

Great value

Seems to be a good durable design, has the power to accurately drive the nails. The size ain't bad either.

Works just fine

Got it today. Read the manual. Following directions I used it to fasten some boards on an out building. It works just fine, does a good job.Nothing wrong with this tool, maybe heavier than some makes but I won't be using it for extended periods of time. Good buy!

Very Effective Nailer

I needed a framing nailer for a fencing project. But I also wanted a little versatility in the sizes of nails that the nailer would accept for when I work on other projects. This NuMax nailer fit the bill nicely. So far I've used it for only one fairly small fencing project but it worked great! No issues feeding the 2 1/4" nails I used and the depth was easy to control. It helped to make my project go up quickly.I can't wait to use if for other projects now.

Great tool

Very impressed with the quality and performance. Built a 6x8 shed from scratch without any problems. Great value for the price. I would recommend it.

Not for all day

This gun works great but it is a beast. If I still framed for a living I would buy a lighter one. A good value and would work fine for ground work, but would wear you out on rafters.

For the price it was a good buy.

I probably could have found a lighter weight air nailer, but not for the money. The only other complaint I have is that it doesn't seem to want to shoot the last few nails. Sometimes it works when you put in more nails, but not always. Which is a little wasteful and a little annoying.

Re: Almost perfect

Great nailer for the price, with a couple of gripes. First, the gun will not fire the nails once the nail strip goes down to four nails; requires you to switch to a new strip. Not a deal break, but can slow you down and leave you with some singles. Second, the gun is heavier than you would expect, but not impossible. Even with these in mind, it’s a great choice for someone who might use it 1-2X per year at best.

So darn so good

I’ve ran about 300 nails through the nailer so far. No jams or short drives yet. I’ve got another 2500 or so nails on the current project and will update the review when I’ve used it more.

Good tool. It balks now and then, but for a DIYer its a good value.
