Manuals, Parts and Warranty

The Freeman Pneumatic 3-in-1 16 Gauge and 18 Gauge 2" Finish Nailer / Stapler combines three tools in one—perfect for crown moulding, baseboards, window casing, cabinetry, and finish carpentry.

This versatile air-powered tool drives 16 gauge finish nails (3/4"–2"), 18 GA brad nails (5/8"–2"), and 18 GA 1/4" narrow crown staples (5/8"–1-5/8"). Built with a lightweight, ergonomic body, it features a comfort grip handle, tool-free depth adjustment, reload indicator, and a no-mar tip for clean, professional results.

The anodized aluminum magazine adds durability, while the 3-in-1 design saves time and money on the job. Backed by Freeman’s 7-Year Limited Warranty and 90-Day Wearable Parts Warranty.

Great tool

I like the fact it can shoot finish nails and staples. I didn't think I would shoot many staples. Well I was wrong. I have shot just as many if not more than the nails. Nice light weight and has the non marring tip.

Great multipurpose nailer

I needed a finish nailer but already had a brad nailer and stapler but I got this one and plan on selling the other two. Price-wise this is a great deal and the finish nailer works really well. One drawback though is if you run out of nails it will continue to fire. Their framing nailer does not do that and it would be a nice feature on this. The gun also had a little trouble going through hickory flooring but it is a very hard wood and it had a hard subfloor beneath it.Would certainly buy again if needed.

Functional but not pro-grade

As many other customers have described this multi-fastener gun does what it's supposed to do but the hammer pin does make marks in your work surface most of the time. Seems like it makes marks more often when gun isn't perfectly perpendicular to the work but between modulating air pressure and adjusting the fastener depth setting you can get it dialed in pretty close. Noticed that the hammer pin area emits a small spark occasionally while operating. I am using Hitachi brand 1-1/2" finish nails to fasten 5mm plywood underlayment to 2x6 interior framing. Also have experienced occasional incomplete fastener driving but that could be operator error as I get familiar with the operating characteristics of the tool. Time will tell.
