Worked great

I had no problems using this and it worked just as I had hoped. I installed our hardwood floors - first time doing it and I needed to purchase this and was very pleased with it.

Great nailer for the price

Used it to put down almost 500 square feet of hardwood oak pre-finished 3/4" flooring. Not a single jam or misfire.

Works well. Good quality

Almost a 5 Star

I had to add 3 layers of duct tape to the foot to keep from splitting. But it did a great job after that.It did start having a small internal air leak after about 500 soft of flooring. It continued to work for the final 300 soft of the flooring.

Great Buy!

Nailing down stranded bamboo flooring with 16 gauge 2" long cleats at about 85 psi and no problem whatsoever!! Great bargain.

Impressive

Works very well! Only a couple hundred square feet into using it and I'm impressed by the quality and efficiency on this nailer.

Good quality product works well.

I was a little skeptical because of the price. This nailer is every bit as good as Bostich and Dewalt which I've used before. Also came in a nice case and included extra shoe and the mallet. Laid about 1000 square-foot so far without any issues. Works great with Staples

Works good

Used it 3 times. Only jammed up once and it was probably my fault for not lubricating it like the instructions recommended. Otherwise a quality unit. Would buy again

Never used a Flooring Nailer before, but I'm an experienced Carpenter. This tool set up easily and performed faultlessly.

Easy for 62 YO Matron Lady to Operate

I love this thing. It's totally trouble free. I've installed 3 rooms and a hallway of red oak flooring. I was working with contractor grade sometimes, but also a few dozen bundles of awkward pieces from an exensive brand. Beautiful, but not easy material to work with. Without this floor nailer, I would not have succeeded. It is ultra reliable and easy to use.I did find that the Bostitch FLN-200 flooring cleats I preferred were a bit pricy at Lowes. I suggest you buy 5000 cleat boxes here on Amazon. They're a much, much better buy. Let's face it, if you're buying the nailer you're gonna use those flooring cleats sooner or later. Just store 'em in a dry place.

High Quality

I love the case that keeps all of the tools neat and in place. We completed over 1300 SQ ft of flooring. No need to pay labor charges when you have the right tools to do it your self.

Great nailer but one huge problem

This nailer works great. I am using 2" staples with no real problems. Except operator error. I accidently didn't strike the nailer correctly and it jammed. Not a problem as there is a plate with 2 hex head bolts holding it on that gives you access to the jam. Problem is there was no way I could loosen either of those 2 bolts. They are a M5 metric bolt. I twisted the first allen wrench so it looked like the top of an ice cream cone using a hammer to strike the allen wrench. The bolts just rounded the corners off the second allen wrench. I tried everything. I was only about 1/4 the way through laying the ash 3/4" flooring and I was stopped. I called Freeman twice and left messages asking for help. They never returned my phone calls. That's crappy customer service. I doubt if Freeman actually reads this but if they do they need to add a quality inspection step at the factory to check the torque settings on the tool used to attach those "removable" plates. If you cannot get it off you cannot use the tool. No matter how nice it is. I finally had to find a 5mm allen socket wrench which meant I also had to buy a 1/2" to 3/8" socket adaptor because the only 5mm socket allen was a 3/8" drive and my impact drill is a 1/2" drive. Putting those together and the 2 M5 bolts came out only with the use of an impact drill. If you get this be sure to check the ability of remove the cover plate to clear jams.

Works just fine

Bought to install 1000 sq ft of 3/4" oak flooring. Worked like a champ. No jams, no issues. Suggest those posting lower ratings were more about operator error than product.

Just great !

I looked around to find a pneumatic nailer that wasn't going to break the bank but wasn't a piece of junk. So pleased that we went with this nailer. We used T cleats and it worked great. We did the entire first floor (about 1200 sq ft) by ourselves as homeowners. This tool did great !! We had zero issues with it and barely had to do a thing. We oiled it a few times but not even daily. It took a firm hit to trigger it but you didn't have to pound it. We used the included hammer to set boards in place too so it was used a lot and it's held up just fine. I can't say enough how impressed we've been with his machine ! OH and having the case included was a very nice touch because we can keep everything together and it's much easier to store neatly.

Solid product

Worked very well installing about 600 sq. ft. of hardwood floor. The only issue was the rubber pad on top of the nail driver started to crack from the repeated hitting of the hammer - which seems too soon to have this issue after installing only one floor.

This is a very good nailer.

I'm about to finish using my first box of 5,000 cleats. I am using it to drive 2" cleats through 3/4 inch flooring (1,500 hardness rating) over 3/4 inch OSB. I run it at 70 psi at the end of a 100 ft. long air hose. At 70 psi, it is more than sufficient, and I could probably lower the pressure and still have the cleats recessed. The nailer has worked flawlessly with only one minor glitch. After about 1,000 cleats, it started leaking around the front part where it connects to the plunger. The nailer came with the appropriate allen wrench, and it only took a minute to tighten the four screws. All in all, I don't think you can go wrong with this product. I did order it with the case, which will be very handy for storing or loaning it out to others. Be sure to keep an eye on the amount of cleats loaded in the slot, it doesn't have a lockout mechanism, so I did run short one time, which is not good for the nailer or the board.

Worked perfectly for 1000 sq ft of hardwood.

Only issue is that the case was missing one of the clasps. The tool is great, the case not so much.
