I purchased this for my Metabo framing nailer, and I've been beating on it during a current build. I'm very pleased with its strength and its features so far.First and foremost, the whole assembly consists of the rafter hook and a new swivel fitting. The swivel fitting is a thoughtful upgrade from the straight fitting that the gun came with. It also came with the proper adapter to fit the new fitting (1/4" NPT) into the gun's 3/8" NPT port. (This may be something new that they've included, because some older reviews mention that this wasn't included.)The aluminum hook is heavy and wide (3"±), and I can't imagine breaking the hook unless I break the gun with it. The hook also rotates freely, and along with the swivel fitting, the gun's maneuverability is much better.Between the overall quality and the features, I'm not sure this can be beat for the price!

Keeps me from dropping tool.

Great idea, but the hook moves way too easy on the fitting. It should be firm enough to stay where you set it, but it moves under its own weight. Before clipping on you have to set the position, and as it wears and gets looser it's going to be a PITA to use. There's no way to tighten, it just rides on a loose fitting o-ring between the fitting nut and a snap ring. The description and pictures make it appear to be fixed in place.

Love it but hate that it flops around. A real pain to hang single handed. Will find a way to modify so it doesnt flop around so much

The first time working good but hook itself sitting on the plastic nunts that with time maybe can change its greatnest.

This hook has been awesome. Added it to a Hitachi framing nailer and it works great. Deep enough hook to hook it onto a ladder when climbing up.

Fit my older dewalt framer perfectly.

I really needed this to hang my nail gun onto my tool belt. It was a good value and was what I was looking for. I'm not sure if it was because I had a cheap nail gun but the thread pitch appeared slightly off as it was a little rough threading it on. It wouldn't thread completely so it was sitting about half way out which in my opinion is not ideal as it's your attachment point for the weight of your gun. If it was fully threaded it would not add as much leverage to the threads. Overall it does its job and has been great at getting up my hands on a 20ft ladder.

It's a rafter hook that attaches at the airline fitting, you do not want to be slamming it around! That being said, the hook itself is robust and high quality! A must have for a framing nailer!

Good replacement . Only thing don't like is it moves instead of locked in position which when working can make it difficult to hook on bag. Reason for 4 stars

Good quality hanger just unhappy it causes my 80 gallon compressor to kick on way too often. I built a 12 X 20 shed using a nail gun and my compressor would barely come on once during the day. (4-6 hours) With this hanger on there it runs 2-3 times a day.
